Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Project Lead - Embedded in Hyderabad to manage a large cross-functional team across hardware, firmware, software, and digital programs. You will oversee project plans, budgets, and delivery, coordinating with customers and Product Team to ensure milestones and quality are met.

The role involves P&L oversight, vendor interactions, and disciplined program governance within the Stage Gate framework. A university degree or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with practical knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems.
• Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary teams across functions.
• Background in program management with vendor coordination and contract basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project teams to deliver outputs agreed with management.
• Manage multiple hardware, firmware, software and/or digital NPI projects.
• Create and manage project plans and reporting dashboards.
• Oversee resource budgets, scope, timelines and product quality KPIs.
• Lead regular customer and Product Team meetings.
• Work with internal and external resources.
• Quality assurance and risk mitigation.
• Report project status at multiple levels.
• Manage issues and escalations; monitor Stage Gate processes.
• Apply practices to develop new products and services.

About the Role

About the role: This position manages a large team of both experienced professionals and team leaders across functions, manages medium to large‑size programs or multiple small programs. Monitors strategic planning efforts, presents progress reports and value‑stream strategy, recommends solutions for program problems, manages the P&L of programs and multiple vendors, and supports contract negotiation.

Role Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating the actions of project teams to produce deliverables agreed upon with executive and/or functional management.
• Managing multiple hardware, firmware, software and/or digital NPI projects.
• Creating and managing project plans and reporting dashboards.
• Managing resource budgets, project scope, on time project delivery KPI and product quality.

Education

Education: Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work University Degree or equivalent
