THERMAX is seeking an experienced Planning professional for EPC projects in India. The role focuses on creating work breakdown structures, developing integrated project plans, and ensuring alignment of functional and project schedules across teams.

Candidate should have extensive Primavera experience, strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and hands-on exposure to ERP and DMS platforms. We value cross-functional collaboration and rigorous documentation practices.

Qualificações

• 7-10 years in an EPC organization.
• 5+ years in planning domain.
• Experience in Energy/Oil & Gas/Bio-Fuels/Chemical EPC.
• Completed at least one EPC project as a planner.
• Strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced Excel skills; exposure to ERP systems.
• Proficient in Primavera project scheduling.
• Good documentation practices.

Responsabilidades

• Formulate Work Breakdown Structure aligned with Project Control framework.
• Prepare base project plan and collect inputs for integrated plan by area.
• Align functional schedules with project schedule and dependencies.
• Coordinate with Cost & Quantity Controller for inputs.
• Monitor critical path and overall schedule regularly.
• Prepare backlog and look-ahead plans based on inputs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for required inputs.
• Support Project Manager with review meetings.
• Capture major events and prepare delay analyses.
• Analyze and present impact of scenarios on schedule during cross-functional meetings.
• Prepare Project MIS / Progress Reports / Review Presentations periodically.

Role & responsibilities

• Formulate Work Breakdown Structure for the project in line with overall Project Control framework
• Prepare base project plan and collect all inputs for finalization of integrated project plan (time per activity, interlinkage, sequencing) by areas from respective managers in Project Team
• Ensure alignment of functional schedules with the project schedule
• Co-ordinate with Cost & Quantity Controller for quantity control inputs
• Monitor critical path & overall schedule on a regular basis
• Prepare backlog report and look ahead plan for the project based on inputs from respective sources
• Coordination with various stake holders for requisite inputs
• Close co-ordination with Project Manager for review meetings
• Capturing major events & preparation of delay analysis
• Analyse & present impact of various scenarios on project schedule & critical path during cross- functional meeting
• Prepare the Project MIS / Progress Reports / Review Meeting Presentations on periodic basis

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in an EPC organization

With Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning domain

Experience in Energy / Oil & Gas / Bio-Fuels / Chemical EPC industries

Prior experience in primavera project scheduling

• Experience of planning in small/medium sized projects from concept to commissioning
• Hands-on Experience on Primavera
• Exposure to Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring and Controlling functions for entire Projects including Resource Planning, Recovery /Crash Planning
• Must have completed minimum one EPC Project as a planner
• Strong analytical skills
• Exposure to functioning of EPC disciplines
• Advance Excel competence
• Hands on experience in MS word & PowerPoint
• Exposure to ERP and Wrench DMS platform
