Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, build, test, deploy, and support automation workflows and digital solutions in Bengaluru. You will identify process improvements, integrate with enterprise systems, and ensure quality and documentation while collaborating with business teams and IT to boost automation performance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years hands-on experience in business process automation, workflow automation, RPA, low-code/no-code development.
• Proficiency in Power Platform, RPA, AI, Data Analytics, Power BI, Python, VBA, SQL, APIs or equivalent technologies.
• Optional exposure to Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, or related processes.
• Formal training or certification in automation technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation solutions across design, build, test, deploy, and support lifecycle.
• Identify and deliver process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Integrate end-to-end solutions with enterprise systems, databases, and business apps.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and maintain design docs, test cases, and user guides.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• 1. Develop and Maintain Automation Solutions: Design, build, test, deploy, and support automation workflows, applications, and digital solutions.
• 2. Identify and Deliver Process Improvement Opportunities: Study business processes, gather requirements, assess feasibility, and implement automation that improves efficiency and productivity.
• 3. Integrate and Manage End-to-End Solutions: Connect automation solutions with enterprise systems, databases, files, and business applications while ensuring reliability and scalability.
• 4. Ensure Quality, Compliance, and Documentation: Prepare design documents, test cases, user guides, and maintain proper controls, monitoring, and audit-ready documentation.
• 5. Collaborate and Drive Continuous Improvement: Work with business teams, IT, and stakeholders to implement solutions, resolve issues, improve user adoption, and enhance automation performance over time.

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

• Graduate / Post-Graduate in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Formal training or certification in an automation technology is preferred.
• Proficiency in modern digital tools such as Power Platform, RPA, AI, Data Analytics, Power BI, Python, VBA, SQL, APIs, or equivalent technologies.

Experience :

Mandatory: 2-3 years of hands‑on experience in business process automation, workflow automation, RPA, low‑code/no‑code development, scripting, or digital solution implementation.

Optional: Experience or functional exposure in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Order Management, Export-Import, Customs, or Foreign Trade processes.

Mandatory/requires Skills :

• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and structured problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to understand business processes and convert requirements into practical automation solutions.
• Working knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing practices, exception handling, version control, and solution documentation.
• Effective stakeholder management, interpersonal, business communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills :

Basic certification in German language
