Job summary

Siemens is seeking a senior Project Engineering & Commissioning expert to drive engineered solutions for complex substations and cement/steel projects. Daily responsibilities include analyzing customer requirements, drafting technical docs, and coordinating procurement and manufacturing of project solutions.

Must travel to sites and be ready to relocate globally. Ideal candidates hold a 10–12 year track record in commissioning/engineering with strong MS Office skills, excellent communication,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics and communication engineering.
• 10–12 years of experience comprising commissioning/engineering.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Analyzing acquired order requirements and proposing an optimized solution to customer.
• Preparation of technical / engineering documentation for the project and getting approval from the customer.
• Loading factory for procurement and manufacturing of the project solution.
• Open to travel to sites for Engineering & Commissioning.
• Willingness to relocate and travel globally as and when required.
• Hands on experience on Electrical, Control & Instrumentation.
• Contractor / Vendor Management on case to case basis.
• Technical & Process knowledge on Cement / Steel / Electrical substations.

Also, it is important to mention, automation systems are incomplete without the essence of cybersecurity.
