Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Goa seeks a mid-level Substation Automation specialist with 3–4 years of hands-on SAS and SICAM RTU experience. You will clarify technical issues for customers, provide site trainings, and apply domain knowledge to optimize operations and drive service innovations.

The role requires relocation to Goa, willingness to travel to customer sites, and adherence to Siemens processes and standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication or related discipline.
• 3–4 years of hands-on field experience in Substation Automation Systems (SAS) and Siemens SICAM RTU.
• Strong knowledge of SAS, SCADA architectures, IED integration, and communication protocols.

Roles and Responsibility:

• Support Customer for Technical clarification and Root cause Analysis

• Supports acquisition activities with detailed technical knowhow on complex issues.
• Adheres to and enforces the organization's internal processes and rules as well as public standards and regulations.

Candidate Profile :

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of hands-on field experience in Substation Automation Systems (SAS) and Siemens SICAM RTU
• Strong understanding of:

Substation Automation Systems (SAS)

SCADA applications and architectures

Integration of Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs)

Hands-on experience with Siemens SICAM RTU platforms and engineering tools:

Toolbox II

Experience in automation logic development using:

CAEx Plus

IEC 61131-3 compliant programming

Strong knowledge and practical experience with communication protocols and networking technologies, including: IEC 60870-5-101,IEC 60870-5-104, TCP/IP

RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol), SNTP, NTP

• Siemens SCADA configuration software WINCC, PAS, SDM, SCC will be added advantages
• Other Requirements:
• Ready to relocate at Goa, India.
• Ready to travel at customer sites whenever requires.
