Mounee Consulting Services seeks a Project Engineer to supervise Installation & Commissioning, O&M of SCADA-enabled substations within the power transmission network. You will oversee RTU/FRTU, LDMS, MPLS, and related systems, ensuring reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will lead teams on-site, manage schedules and safety plans, and optimize performance, with a focus on cybersecurity for substation automation.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years or more in substation operations, maintenance, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of substation equipment, protection systems, SCADA, and automation technologies.
• Experience with HV and EHV transmission systems.
• Familiarity with relay coordination, fault analysis, and power system stability.
• Strong leadership and project management skills with safety and environmental compliance.
• Proficiency in substation design software, maintenance management systems, and SCADA platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SCADA systems at site (Movicon, CIMPLICITY, WinCC, Wonderware).
• Installation and Commissioning, Testing, Training & O&M of RTU, FRTU, LDMS, MPLS, etc.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE, IEC, NERC, OSHA, NFPA and local regs.
• Develop and implement safety procedures, risk assessments, and emergency plans.
• Coordinate with utilities, consultants, SCADA team and vendors for project execution.
• Collaborate with site engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff.
• Prepare operational reports and performance analyses.
• Ensure cybersecurity for substation automation and protection systems.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to oversee the Installation & Commissioning operation, maintenance of electrical substations SCADA enablers like (RTU, FRTU, LDMS, MPLS, etc) within the power transmission network. The ideal candidate will ensure reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards while managing teams, coordinating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SCADA systems (Movicon, GE CIMPLICITY, Siemens WinCC, Wonderware or equivalent) at site.
• Installation and Commissioning (I&C), Testing, Training & Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of RTU, FRTU, LDMS, MPLS, etc.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEEE, IEC, NERC, OSHA, NFPA, and local regulations).
• Develop and implement safety procedures, risk assessments, and emergency response plans.
• Work with utilities, PMA (Consultant), SCADA Team and vendors for project execution and compliance.
• Work with site engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff.

Required Qualifications
