- We are looking for a Project Engineer to support a major international fire‑suppression system engineering and certification program.
- This role combines technical coordination, project execution, and engineering leadership within India’s growing Fire Protection Expertise Center in Mumbai.
- The selected candidate will act as a direct functional link to global engineering and R&D teams (Luxembourg, Singapore, Korea, etc.) and will play a key role in ensuring that project execution meets the highest international standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution & Coordination
- Support and coordinate a major international fire-suppression engineering program.
- Serve as the operational interface between the company and global R&D, Product Management, and PMO teams.
- Track milestones, schedules, and technical deliverables.
- Ensure clear, structured communication across multiple countries and time zones.
- Contribute to the development of a permanent engineering and testing capability within Rotarex India.
- Ensure the facility, tools, and processes meet international requirements for fire protection systems.
- Support preparation, handling, and validation of system components and test samples.
- Work with global teams to understand UL/FM/EN certification methodologies.
- Liaise with external testing bodies, inspectors, and notified agencies.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, drawings, procedures, and test protocols.
Technical Reporting & Documentation
- Consolidate test data, results, and engineering feedback.
- Support failure analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
- Produce structured, accurate reports for internal and global stakeholders.
Cross‑Functional Interaction
- Collaborate closely with global Product Management, R&D, Quality, and PMO teams.
- Participate in weekly status meetings and international reviews.
- Provide on‑ground insights to influence design decisions and project priorities.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
- 2–6 years of experience in engineering, project execution, or testing roles.
- Experience with gas systems, piping, pressure equipment, fire suppression, or industrial machinery is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of certification, compliance, or regulated testing environments (UL, FM, EN, ISO) is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate internationally.
- Good written and spoken English.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in fire protection systems, firefighting technologies, or pressure vessels.
- Knowledge of test labs, inspection processes, audit requirements, or certification workflows.
- Practical hands‑on mentality for prototype support and sample preparation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational discipline.
