Job summary

Addverb Technologies is seeking a principal role in embedded hardware R&D to design, implement, and rigorously test embedded systems for robotic platforms and standalone devices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet the highest industry standards and best practices.

The role emphasizes PCB schematic design for power, motor drives, and analog simulation, extensive knowledge of MCU/processor tech, and strong hardware debugging skills.

Qualifications

• In-depth expertise in PCB schematic design with emphasis on power systems, motor drives, and analog simulation.
• Advanced proficiency in layout design and taking designs from concept to prototypes.
• Extensive knowledge of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and other embedded system components.
• Strong familiarity with hardware development standards and certification protocols.
• Understanding of end-to-end robotics systems including wiring and harnessing.
• Advanced skills in schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware debugging techniques.
• Knowledge of CE and UL compliance requirements.
• Experience with wireless protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) and integration into embedded systems.
• Background in firmware development for complex embedded systems.
• Experience with PLM systems and BOM management.
