Mondelez India Foods Private Limited in India seeks a Lead Electrical & Automation Engineer for capital projects and plant expansions. You will own scope from concept through FAT/SAT, manage contractors, budgets and schedules, and drive safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Automation/Mechatronics and 5–6 years' experience in manufacturing electrical and automation engineering, FMCG preferred.
You assist in planning, developing and execution of capital projects, technical development, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in the supply chain and capital-expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest level of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You help ensure sure that Mondel z business and innovation processes in project management and Mondel z standards in execution are followed.
The role supports capital project execution, and you will be accountable for the quality of the results and execution of capital projects using Mondel z standards, and business and innovation processes in project management. You will help define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments with stakeholders so that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided and develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow. You will also help ensure that applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented, and support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices.

Lead the electrical and automation engineering project a the site, ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient execution of all electrical systems and automation system for Sricity Engineering Projects on existing lines and capacity expansion.

Translates technical topics for diverse audiences; strong influencer.

Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Rockwell / Siemens), SCADA/HMI design, industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCPIP), and instrumentation. Shall have sound knowledge of Batch process and Pack-ML Standards.
Solid understanding of power distribution, motor control, and electrical protection systems. MCC panels and Drives.
Good knowledge or Instruments, Selection and Calibration processes including legal meteorology.
Digital mindset, familiar with Digital applications for factory operations.
OT infrastructure - Networks, Network management, Server, Virtual Environment, Cybersecurity tools and Secure Remote access tools.
Hands on knowledge of Process Safety and Equipment safety Standards (SIL and PL). To design and validate the safety of the equipment and processes.
Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams in a fast-paced operational setting.
Experience managing capital projects (>$500K electrical/automation scope).
Ability to translate complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders; strong written and verbal English.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation/Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
Experience: 5-6 years of progressive experience in electrical and automation engineering within a manufacturing environment (FMCG/food & beverage preferred)
