Job summary

Trane Technologies in India is seeking a Project Engineer-EES to lead planning, coordination, and support of engineering projects from initiation through completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with technical, quality, and safety requirements.

This field-based role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams, reviewing drawings, tracking progress and risks, preparing documentation, and supervising on-site activities with strong communication in English or

• Diploma or degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
• ITI/NCTVT in HVAC with relevant project experience.
• Strong reading of drawings, specs, and schedules.

Job Description-Project Engineer-EES

A Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting engineering projects from initiation through completion. This role helps ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical, quality, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, procurement, and contractors.
• Review project requirements, specifications, drawings, and schedules.
• Track project progress, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project updates.
• Assist with design reviews, testing, commissioning, and implementation activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety policies, and quality requirements.
• Identify project issues and help develop corrective actions.
• Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers as needed.
• To supervise and control ON SITE activities on daily basis.
• Co ordination with Customer Engineering Team/PMC/HVAC or MEP consultant/Suppliers and Contractors.
• Should have good communication skill read/write and spoken English or Hindi

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical engineering or a related technical field.
• ITI / NCTVT in HVAC with minimum 7-8 years hands on experience in project execution.
• Experience in project engineering, project coordination, or technical project delivery.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management practices, and technical documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant engineering or project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering certification or project management certification.
• Experience in HVAC, manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Knowledge of AUTOCAD/REVIT MEP
