Job summary

JobItUs is seeking a Project Engineer for a role based in Agomoni, Assam. The candidate should have 5 to 10 years of experience in project execution, with a focus on EHV transmission projects up to 400 kV.

You will manage project progress, billing, cost control, safety, quality and process improvements. Responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers, consultants and clients to obtain timely approvals, driving Kaizen initiatives, and strengthening SOPs.

Qualifications

• 05-10 years of project engineering/ execution experience in utilities or transmission projects.
• Strong Excel and data analysis abilities with a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication, coordination and leadership qualities for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project progress, ensure timely completion and financial targets for EHV transmission projects up to 400 kV.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, consultants and subcontractors; coordinate client approvals.
• Drive safety culture, Kaizen initiatives and quality improvements across all sites.
• Monitor processes, implement improvements, and ensure robust SOPs and review systems are followed.

Project Engineer

Job Location: Agomoni, Assam

Function: Project Execution

Experience: 05-10 Years

KRA 1: Project Management

• Drive project progress & ensure timely completion of assigned projects both operationally & financially as per the planned timelines for EHV Transmission Lines upto 400 KV
• Building strong relationship with key suppliers, external consultants, Sub contractors
• Coordination with Clients in getting all Approvals in time
• Ensure robust review system for monitoring the project progress along with other functions

KRA 2: Key financial deliverables

• Manage Project billing (Both Supply & erection) to achieve desired targets as per the Plan.
• Control the Operational cost effectively & achieve the project operation cost below the plan

KRA 3: Safety & Quality

• Drive Safety culture through proactive initiatives across all project sites & achieve Zero accidents /Incidents
• Drive Kaizen initiatives at all levels & build culture across the entire site
• Improve field quality through robust process & focused initiatives

KRA 4: Productivity & Process Improvement

• Benchmark Key Processes & initiate Improvements
• Strengthen the entire collection process and subsequent improvements through robust review process & strong SOPs
