Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking a Lead Project Engineer for the WETS Deposition group in Bengaluru. You will own and drive engineering projects to develop, optimize, and implement product and process improvements across Lam product lines.

Collaboration with India and Austria teams will ensure timely, quality results. You will lead cross-functional efforts across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and safety, manage KPIs, drive concurrent engineering, and apply DFX, CAD and SAP/Fiori

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience in driving concurrent engineering projects based on DFX skills.
• Expertise in manufacturing processes and material selection.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Electrical/Controls, Product Safety).
• Experience in OEM component selection (Mechanical parts).
• Demonstrated ownership of team KPIs.
• Knowledge of 3D modelling and assembly using Solid Edge, NX or other CAD software.
• Familiarity with semiconductor equipment and subsystems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and technical presentation skills.
• Experience with SAP and Fiori applications.

This individual will collaborate with engineers in India and Austria on product sustaining activities for WETS product lines.The impact you’ll makeAs a Project Engineer at Lam, you're not merely managing projects - you're driving advancements integral to the design and development of Lam's products.
