The position emphasizes hands-on learning, reporting, and documentation, with a 48-hour weekly schedule on-site and opportunities to grow technical expertise within a global real estate leader.

Competenze

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 1 year of experience in facilities operations or engineering support; internship/co-op may count.
• Experience with building systems (Civil, HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools and testing equipment; basic CAD reading optional.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Engineering Services S3 Job Description (Entry-Level/1 Year Experience)

Position Overview

The Engineering Services S3 role is an entry-level technical position within JLL's ideal for early-career professionals with approximately one year of relevant experience. This role provides hands‑on involvement in Engineering systems operations developing technical skills under the guidance of senior engineering staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Building Systems Support: Assist in the daily Construction of building Civil,mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Technical Learning & Development: Participate in training programs to develop expertise in building systems and operations
• Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical manuals
• Shadow senior engineers during troubleshooting activities and complex repairs
• Develop understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
• Administrative & Reporting: Assist in preparing operational reports and performance metrics
• Help maintain equipment logs, maintenance records, and compliance documentation
• Support energy tracking and sustainability reporting initiatives
• Participate in safety inspections and audits

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil /Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, related technical field OR relevant technical certification/diploma with equivalent hands-on experience
• Experience 1 year of experience in facilities operations, building maintenance, engineering support, or related field Internship or co-op experience in project management or construction may be considered
• Experience with building systems (Civil,HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of building Civil mechanical and electrical systems Familiarity with standard hand tools and testing equipment Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Core Competencies: Strong desire to learn and develop technical expertise Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
