Job summary

JLL in Hyderabad is seeking an entry-level Engineering Services S3 professional. This role offers hands-on involvement in engineering systems operations and supports building systems maintenance under the guidance of senior engineers.

You will contribute to developing technical skills, read drawings, participate in safety audits, and help with reporting and logs. On-site position with 48 scheduled hours per week and opportunities to grow within the facility management domain.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in facilities operations or engineering support.
• Education in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or a diploma/certification with hands-on experience.
• Basic understanding of building systems and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily construction and maintenance of building civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Learn reading engineering drawings and specifications under senior engineers.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain logs and compliance documents.
• Support energy tracking and sustainability reporting initiatives.

Engineering Services S3 Job Description (Entry-Level/1 Year Experience)

Position Overview

The Engineering Services S3 role is an entry-level technical position within JLL’s ideal for early-career professionals with approximately one year of relevant experience. This role provides hands‑on involvement in Engineering systems operations developing technical skills under the guidance of senior engineering staff.

Key Responsibilities

Building Systems Support

• Assist in the daily Construction of building Civil,mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Technical Learning & Development

• Participate in training programs to develop expertise in building systems and operations
• Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical manuals
• Shadow senior engineers during troubleshooting activities and complex repairs
• Develop understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices

Administrative & Reporting

• Assist in preparing operational reports and performance metrics
• Help maintain equipment logs, maintenance records, and compliance documentation
• Support energy tracking and sustainability reporting initiatives
• Participate in safety inspections and audits

Required Qualifications

Education

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil /Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, related technical field
• OR relevant technical certification/diploma with equivalent hands‑on experience

Experience

• 1 year of experience in facilities operations, building maintenance, engineering support, or related field
• Internship or co‑op experience in project management or construction may be considered
• Experience with building systems (Civil,HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of building Civil mechanical and electrical systems
• Familiarity with standard hand tools and testing equipment
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
