Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Project Engineer in India to lead end-to-end project planning and controls, aligning scope, schedules and budgets with statutory requirements. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and teams to develop baselines, manage schedules, and monitor progress using EV metrics.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 4–6 years of project management experience on large commercial projects, with proficiency in MSP/Primavera and MIS/reporting systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 4-6 years of project management experience for large-scale commercial projects in PMC, developer or consulting environments.
  • Strong understanding of planning, cost control, contract administration, construction methods and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools (MSP/Primavera) and MIS/reporting systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills with a focus on timely, quality delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the project baseline including scope, sequencing, schedule prep, cost planning and resource loading.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to reflect design, procurement and construction activities in integrated schedules.
  • Conduct Planning Review Meetings to track schedule performance, monitor critical paths, and incorporate approved changes.
  • Evaluate schedules, work programs, resources and costs for feasibility, constructability and compliance.
  • Monitor progress using earned value metrics, dashboards and MIS to identify delays and risks.
  • Support procurement planning by tracking long-lead items and material delivery schedules.
  • Perform periodic site visits to validate progress and synchronize site execution with plans.
  • Prepare planning documentation: baseline schedules, look-ahead programs, progress reports, S-curves, recovery schedules and risk registers.
