Job summary

Rockwell Automation seeks a Project Engineer for Services to join an engineering team based in Pune/Noida, India. You will work under the guidance of a Team Lead, collaborating with global project managers, delivering automation projects across multiple industries, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

You will visit customer sites to troubleshoot and commission systems, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Delivery: Responsible for cost-effective and high-quality project execution ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Process & Industry Standards: Provide process domain expertise and solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Collaborat​ion: Coordinate with Project Managers and regional partners for smooth project engineering services and execution.
• Project Oversight: Manage all phases of project execution respecting budget, schedule and quality.
• Team Development: Coach junior project engineers to enhance team capabilities and performance.
• Manage Multiple Projects: Handle multiple deliveries with adherence to process, budget, schedule and quality.
• Scope & Risk Management: Define scope, manage risks, and resolve technical issues with PM/TL.
• Standardisation and Cost Reduction: Promote standard engineering solutions and lead cost reductions.
• Customer Engagement: Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Site Travel & Troubleshooting: Willingness to travel to project sites; 75% travel anticipated.

As a Project Engineer for Services, you will be part of a dynamic engineering team based in Pune/Noida, working under the guidance of a Team Lead. Your day will involve collaborating with global project managers, accomplishing automation projects across multiple industries, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective delivery. You'll visit customer sites to troubleshoot and commission systems, while also mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement. You will report to the Manager/TLYour Responsibilities:

• Project Execution & Delivery: Responsible for, cost-effective, and high-quality project execution that ensures customer satisfaction.
• Process & Industry Standards: Provide process domain expertise and solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with Project Managers and regional partners to ensure smooth project engineering services and execution.
• Project Oversight: Manage all phases of project execution, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Team Development: Coach junior project engineers to enhance team capabilities and performance.
• Manage Multiple Projects: Manage and report multiple project deliveries with the complete process adherence, meeting or improving on budget, schedule and quality requirements with all the possible value additions
• Scope & Risk Management: Collaborate with the PM and Team Leader on scope definition, risk management, and technical issue resolution.
• Standardisation and Cost Reduction: Promote reuse of standard engineering solutions and lead cost reduction through process improvements.
• Customer Engagement: Work with leadership to ensure, customer satisfaction, and repeat business.
• Site Travel & Troubleshooting: Willingness to travel to project sites to troubleshoot technical issues. 75 % travel would be there.
