Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Project Engineer for Services in India (Pune/Noida) to join a dynamic engineering team. You will deliver automation projects across industries, visit customer sites to troubleshoot and commission systems, and mentor junior engineers for continuous improvement.

You will report to a Team Lead and collaborate with global project managers for cost-effective, high-quality delivery, while promoting standard engineering solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Manage Multiple Projects: manage and report multiple project deliveries with value additions within budget and timeline.
• Scope & Risk Management: collaborate on scope definition, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Standardisation and Cost Reduction: promote reuse of standard engineering solutions and drive cost reductions.
• Customer Engagement: work with leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Site Travel & Troubleshooting: willingness to travel to project sites; up to 75% travel.

Your day will involve collaborating with global project managers, accomplishing automation projects across multiple industries, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective delivery. You'll visit customer sites to troubleshoot and commission systems, while also mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement. You will report to the Manager/TLYour Responsibilities:Project Execution & Delivery: Responsible for, cost-effective, and high-quality project execution that ensures customer satisfaction.Process & Industry Standards: Provide process domain expertise and solutions aligned with industry best practices.Collaboration: Coordinate with Project Managers and regional partners to ensure smooth project engineering services and execution.Project Oversight: Manage all phases of project execution, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.Team Development: Coach junior project engineers to enhance team capabilities and performance.Manage Multiple Projects: Manage and report multiple project deliveries with the complete process adherence, meeting or improving on budget, schedule and quality requirements with all the possible value additionsScope & Risk Management: Collaborate with the PM and Team Leader on scope definition, risk management, and technical issue resolution.Standardisation and Cost Reduction: Promote reuse of standard engineering solutions and lead cost reduction through process improvements.Customer Engagement: Work with leadership to ensure, customer satisfaction, and repeat business.Site Travel & Troubleshooting: Willingness to travel to project sites to troubleshoot technical issues. 75 % travel would be there.
