Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or related field with 3+ years of experience.
• Preferred experience in HVDC, FACTS, substation automation, or protection & control.
• Understanding of power system protection principles, control systems, SCADA/automation, electrical studies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute HVDC Control & Protection systems for ongoing projects.
• Review and manage CP design documents, functional specs, interface docs, and reports.
• Coordinate with system, hardware, software/automation, commissioning, site teams, customers, and subcontractors.
• Participate in design reviews, customer meetings, and technical discussions.
• Track progress and support closure of technical issues.
• Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning preparation activities.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and EHS guidelines.

• Support the coordination and execution ofHVDC Control & Protection systemsfor ongoing projects.
• Assist in coordination, review, and management of:
  • C&P design documents

  • Interface documents
  • Protection philosophies
  • Technical reports and engineering deliverables
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including:
  • System engineering
  • Hardware engineering
  • Software/automation engineering
  • Commissioning teams

• Participate in design reviews, customer meetings, and technical discussions.
• Track engineering progress and support timely closure of technical issues.
• Contribute to FAT, SAT, and commissioning preparation activities.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, technical standards, quality procedures, and EHS guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree inElectrical Engineering, Power Systems, Control Engineering, or related discipline from tier one college with 3+ years of experience
• Preferred experience inHVDC, FACTS, substation automation, protection & control, or power systems engineering.
• Understanding of:
