Job summary

Jagori Rural Charitable Trust is seeking a Livelihood Project Coordinator to oversee planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of livelihood development activities across project areas.

The role emphasizes supporting sustainable livelihood opportunities, income generation, skill development, entrepreneurship, enterprise development, and market linkages for women and communities, with extensive field travel to ensure successful programme delivery.

Responsibilities

• The Livelihood Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of livelihood development activities across the project areas
• The role will focus on supporting sustainable livelihood opportunities, income generation, skill development, entrepreneurship, enterprise development, and market linkages for women and communities
• The Project Coordinator will work closely with community institutions, SHGs, producer groups, government departments, Panchayati Raj Institutions, local stakeholders, market actors, and other partners to facilitate effective programme implementation and strengthen livelihood opportunities

The Livelihood Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of livelihood development activities across the project areas

• The role will focus on supporting sustainable livelihood opportunities, income generation, skill development, entrepreneurship, enterprise development, and market linkages for women and communities
• The Project Coordinator will work closely with community institutions, SHGs, producer groups, government departments, Panchayati Raj Institutions, local stakeholders, market actors, and other partners to facilitate effective programme implementation and strengthen livelihood opportunities
• The role will also support capacity building, field-level coordination, documentation, reporting, and monitoring of project activities to ensure achievement of programme objectives
• Extensive field travel within the project areas is an integral part of the role
