Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Total Cost Management Concepts & taxonomy and Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Experience in budget allocation and establishing a Cost Baseline.
• Ability to analyze cost reports and communicate concerns effectively.

• Escalate cost issues ahead of time to management for mitigation.

Job description

Tracks, analyzes, and controls the costs associated with a project, such as large-scale Hydrocarbon/Offshore Wind construction projects where there are multiple subcontractors, inspectors and suppliers involved. Forecasting expenditures, planning budgets, classifying costs by type, tracking man-hours allocated to a project, verifying supplier invoices, and managing change events that impact the budget.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to minimize deviation from the budget and ensure that the project is completed within the approved budget.
• Escalates cost issues ahead of time to management for mitigation action.
• Tracks cost mitigation actions.
• Ability to analyze cost reports, detect issues, and effectively communicate the project’s cost performance, issues/concerns, and recovery plans to the project team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Total Cost Management Concepts & taxonomy and Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Allocation of budget and establishing a Cost Baseline.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Proficiency in standard Cost Control tools/applications is preferred.
