Job summary

Burns & McDonnell India is seeking a Project Control Specialist in Mumbai to manage project budgets, WBS, cost codes and EcoSys data, using advanced Excel and Power BI. You will present to mid-level leadership and support PMO initiatives.

Responsibilities include tracking actuals and variances, coordinating with project managers and finance, monitoring invoices, and preparing concise financial summaries for leadership. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of project controls experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 2–5 years in project controls, cost control, or ERP support.
• Strong Excel and Power BI skills.
• Experience with EcoSys and PMO processes.

Project Control Specialist

Job Description

• Creating/modifying projects, budgets, WBS, Familiarity with Excel (advanced), Power BI, proactive, Detail-oriented, process-driven, ownership mindset.
• Exceptional verbal/written English can present to mid-level leadership. PMO, resource planning.
• Create and maintain project records, WBS, cost codes, and budgets in EcoSys
• Perform regular budget modifications, actuals tracking, and variance monitoring
• Collaborate with Project Managers and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely updates
• Track invoice status, coordinate with accounts, and ensure alignment with approved budgets
• Lead or support weekly budget review and financial status calls
• Prepare concise financial summaries and reports for leadership
• Assist in developing resource planning workflows and reporting tools
• Support foundational PMO initiatives such as standardizing financial reporting and tracking utilization of metrics

Qualifications
