Job summary

Alstom in Coimbatore is seeking a full-time Project Configuration and Change Management (PCCM) Leader to define the Configuration Management Plan, lead Change Control Boards, and drive CCM across major projects. You’ll collaborate with procurement, industrial, tender/project management, and quality teams to keep baselines accurate and changes well-managed.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree and 8+ years in CCM, with knowledge of railway products and CCM tools (ALM, EWM, PLM).

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• Experience in configuration and change management, with at least 8 years in a similar role.
• Knowledge of railway products, solutions, and systems.
• Familiarity with CCM tools (e.g., ALM, EWM, PLM).
• A CMII certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and cross-functional team management.
• Proficiency in English.
• Leadership skills and the ability to influence and guide stakeholders.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in configuration and change management to a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, driven, and innovative teammates.

You’ll ensure accuracy, consistency, and traceability of delivered products and services to internal and external customers, keeping configurations under control and managing changes throughout the lifecycle of key projects, programs, or products. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including procurement, industrial, tender/project management, and quality), lead Configuration and Change Management (CCM) activities, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of defining the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) and leading Change Control Boards, but also monitoring CCM performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

All About You

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluency in English
