Job summary

E Solution is inviting applications for the Project Associate-II position with ICMR NIRBID, Mumbai, to work on the project defining mitochondrial health and cellular energetics in autoimmune inflammatory disorders (AID).

Location :- ICMR-NIRBID, Mumbai

Name of Post :- Project Associate-II

Emoluments :- Rs. 35,000/- Per Month + 27% HRA

Essential qualifications :- Master's degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Biomedical Sciences/ Immunology or allied biological sciences from a recognized univeristy/ instituion.

Essential :- Candidates should have adequate theoretical and practical knowledge of molecular biology, cell biology and/ or immunological techniques relevant to biomedical research.

Desirable Qualification/ Experience :- Research experience in mitochondrial biology, cellular metabolism, autoinflammatory/ immunological disorders, inflammatory diseases or related biomedical research.

Desirable Technical Skills :- Hands-on experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, molecular biology techniques, gene expression analysis, immunological assays and/or biochmical assays.

Desirable-Project-specific Skills :- Familiarity with assessment of mitochondrial membrane potential, mitochondrial ROS, mitochondrial mass/ biogenesis, cellular energetics or related mitochondrial functional assays.

Desirable :-Experience in handling and processing human clinical samples, particularly peripheral blood/ PBMCs, and experience in maintaning research records and laboratory documentation. Experience in data analysis, interpretation of experimental results and scientific literature, with an ability to work independently as well as as part of a multidisciplinary research team.

Desirable :-Not exceeding 35 years
