Subject: Applications are invited for one Project Technical Support–III position at SBILab and HMI Lab of Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi).
The selected candidate will support an interdisciplinary healthcare research project involving multimodal biomedical data, AI/deep-learning pipelines, software deployment, technical documentation, and project administration.

Monthly Remuneration
₹28,000 per month + HRA, as admissible, amounting to approximately ₹36,400 per month inclusive of HRA, with a 5% increment after every two years, subject to applicable project and institutional norms. The basic remuneration and eligibility structure are aligned with the ICMR Project Technical Support–III category.
Essential Qualifications
- The candidate should possess any one of the following: Three Years Graduate degree in relevant subject / field + three Years post qualification experience or PG in relevant subject / field.
- Relevant disciplines include Basic Sciences, Computer Science, Data Science, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or allied areas.
Area of Work and Responsibilities
- Execute established preprocessing and data-processing workflows for multimodal biomedical datasets.
- Organize and manage intermediate datasets, model outputs, logs, and project repositories.
- Assist in quality control of EEG/MEG, neuroimaging-derived, clinical, and other multimodal inputs used for AI-model development.
- Support routine operation of computational systems, software pipelines, GPU servers, and storage infrastructure.
- Assist research scientists in running experiments, troubleshooting pipeline failures, and documenting results.
- Coordinate the transfer and tracking of datasets and computational outputs between collaborating institutions.
- Maintain project documentation, meeting records, task trackers, procurement records, equipment inventories, and utilisation reports.
- Assist in preparing progress reports, presentations, technical summaries, budget-related documentation, and supporting documents required by the Institute and funding agency.
- Coordinate project meetings, interviews, workshops, travel documentation, reimbursements, and routine communication with collaborators and administrative units.
- Support timely completion of project milestones and ensure smooth coordination between technical, clinical, and administrative workflows.
- Working knowledge of Python, Linux, spreadsheets, and common data-management tools.
- Familiarity with biomedical data, machine-learning workflows, Git, or research-computing.
- Ability to prepare clear reports, presentations, tables, diagrams, and administrative documentation.
- Good organisational, communication, and coordination skills.
- Prior experience in research projects, academic laboratories, healthcare projects, or multi-institutional collaborations will be advantageous.
Duration
Initially for 11 months, subject to successful completion of a three month probation period. The appointment may be extended based on satisfactory performance, project requirements, availability of funds, and applicable IIIT-Delhi norms.
