Job summary

MBH Architects seeks a Project Architect for the Mumbai Marcom Planning studio. You will deliver project documentation from design development through kit production, maintain Revit and InDesign templates, and update design guidelines while advancing technical expertise under leaders' guidance.

You will produce 2D/3D store layouts, translate survey data, apply FF&E packages, and prepare deliverables with high precision in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of space planning experience for retail or commercial interiors.
  • Proficiency in BIM software; Revit is required; AutoCAD/SketchUp/Enscape/Cinema 4D/Bluebeam are pluses.

  • Produce consistent, accurate 2D/3D store layout plans using CAD, Revit, and other modeling tools.

  • Create inventory lists of store elements (fixtures, furniture, etc.).
  • Support quality control and accuracy checking of peer work as needed.

Job description

We are seeking a Project Architect in the Mumbai office for our Marcom Planning studio. This role focuses on timely and accurate delivery of project documentation from design development through final kit production, including New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, maintenance of Revit and InDesign templates, and updates to design guidelines and cheat sheets. Ensures high-quality, consistent documentation standards while contributing to efficient project execution and continuously developing technical expertise under the guidance of project leaders and managers.

What You'll Do

  • Apply established fixture, furniture, and display packages to layouts with precision

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with space planning for retail or commercial interiors, especially within a rollout or high-volume environment

  • Experience creating and managing accurate fixture, furniture, and equipment (FF&E) plans

  • Proficiency in BIM software, Revit (required); additional proficiency in any of the following softwares is a plus: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Cinema 4D, and Bluebeam

  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency in technical documentation

  • Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and communicate progress clearly with your team

  • Comfortable working within predefined standards, templates, and repetitive workflows

  • Collaborative team mindset with accountability for your own deliverables

  • Ability to take the initiative to research and resolve issues independently before escalating to management

  • Experience reviewing and incorporating field survey data into layout plans
