WPP is hiring a Project Analyst (Value & Automation) to drive AI-enabled analytics and automation across Microsoft365 and data sources. The role focuses on accuracy, audit-readiness, and actionable insights for investment decisions.

You will build automations and dashboards using PowerBI, Power Query, Viva Insights and related tools, while partnering with stakeholders to translate technical developments into business value.

• Build and automate reporting and analysis processes using Viva Insights, PowerBI, Power Query and Microsoft365 data sources.
• Support the measurement of AI adoption and value with evidence for outcomes and reporting.
• Maintain licence, cost and funding models to inform investment decisions.
• Design and build automations, prototypes and POCs using Python, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Dataverse and MicrosoftGraph.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify challenges and demonstrate AI-enabled solutions.

What you’ll be doing

• Own and maintain licence, adoption and utilisation datasets across Microsoft365, HR and tenant data sources, ensuring information is accurate, reconciled and audit‑ready.
• Build and automate reporting and analysis processes using tools such as Viva Insights, PowerBI, Power Query and Microsoft365 data sources.
• Support the measurement of AI adoption and value, helping develop the evidence base behind business outcomes and benefits reporting.
• Maintain licence, cost and funding models, providing insight that informs investment and adoption decisions.
• Design and build automations, prototypes and proof‑of‑concepts using tools including Python, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Dataverse and MicrosoftGraph.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges, identify opportunities and demonstrate practical AI‑enabled solutions.
• Evaluate newly released AI products and capabilities, turning technical developments into clear recommendations and actionable insights for WPP.
• Support the operation of the WPPFrontierLab, helping assess, test and prioritise emerging technologies.
• Execute pilots and user testing activities, capturing evidence, documenting findings and validating outcomes before recommendations are made.
• Contribute to executive reporting by turning complex data into clear, credible and decision‑ready insights.

What we’re looking for

• Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources and transforming them into accurate, trusted insights.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach to data quality.
• Advanced Excel capability and experience working with reporting, analytics or business intelligence tools.
• A natural curiosity about AI, technology and emerging products, combined with the ability to assess their practical business value.
• Experience building automations, workflows, reports, prototypes or proof‑of‑concepts using modern technology platforms.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to frame solutions around business needs rather than technical features.
• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at different levels, from operational teams to senior decision‑makers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• A proactive, self‑directed approach and enthusiasm for learning new tools and technologies.
• Nice to have Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Viva Insights or Microsoft365 adoption and analytics.
• Nice to have Exposure to PowerBI, Power Platform, Dataverse or MicrosoftGraph.
• Nice to have Knowledge of Python or other scripting and automation tools.
• Nice to have MicrosoftAZ‑900, DP‑900 or equivalent cloud and data certifications.
• Nice to have Experience supporting digital transformation, adoption, analytics or business change programmes.
