Job summary

Stantec in Pune is seeking a Project Accounting Assistant to support project finance activities. You will set up and maintain project records, generate routine performance and billing reports, and ensure accuracy in labor and equipment postings in Oracle.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in project accounting.
• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP for posting and verification.

Responsibilities

• Perform project accounting activities like job setup/maintenance, back up, transfers, uploads.
• Assist in preparation of scheduled reports daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly (project performance, unbilled, task billing).
• Review and post labor/equipment records in Oracle from PM logs.
• Adhere to SOPs and corporate policies; report inconsistencies to supervisor.
• Maintain billing folders for all projects with invoices and expenses according to procedures.
• Handle voluminous data with accuracy and quality.

• Perform various project accounting activities like Job set up/maintenance, back up, Transfers, uploads etc.
• Assist the team in preparation of various scheduled reports on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis such as project performance reports, unbilled reports, task billing reports etc.
• Reviewing and Posting Labor/Equipment record in Oracle upon receipt of logs from PMs
• Adhere to SOP’s for performing all activities assigned, Follow all corporate policies and report any inconsistencies to immediate supervisor
• Maintain the billing folders for all projects, with all the appropriate documents, including expenses, consultant invoices, and monthly invoices, in accordance with standard procedures
• Ready to handle voluminous data with expected quality and accuracy
