• Proficient in OE installation and configuration.


• Good working experience on migration of OpenEdge from OE10 to OE11.


• Well versed with Unix shell scripting; able to create new or modify existing scripts to support all DBA activities.


• Implementation of OE architecture.


• Creation of new databases.


• Configuration of databases with the required startup parameters.


• Monitoring and maintenance of databases.


• Fine tuning of database performance.


• Configuration and monitoring of database backup and restore.
