Job summary

Persistent Systems Limited invites applications for a SOC Analyst with 2–5 years of experience to monitor and respond to security events across cloud and on‑prem environments. The role focuses on SIEM-driven detections, incident triage, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to strengthen security posture.

You will analyze logs from network, application, and cloud infrastructure, contribute to threat hunting, and help implement security controls and best practices.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Security Operations, SOC Monitoring, or Cyber Security roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with SIEM platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events, alerts, and incidents using SIEM platforms.
• Investigate suspicious activities, security breaches, and potential cyber threats across cloud and enterprise environments.
• Perform incident triage, root cause analysis, and support incident response activities.
• Monitor cloud security controls and identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance gaps.
• Collaborate with security architects, DevOps teams, and application teams to improve security posture.
• Analyze logs from network, application, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Support threat hunting activities and proactively identify potential security risks.
• Develop and maintain security use cases, alerts, dashboards, and monitoring rules.
• Perform security reviews, assessments, and validation of security controls.

• Assist in implementing security best practices across cloud and application environments.
• Participate in security audits, compliance reviews, and governance activities.
• Contribute to automation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives within the SOC team.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Security Operations, SOC Monitoring, or Cyber Security roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
