Reporting to – DGM – S&OP & Supply ChainPlanning
Department – Supply Chain Management
Work Days – Mon toSat (6 days working)
Office Timings – Day Shift – 9 AM to 5.30 PM
Experience – 4–7 years in program/project management,operations, or supply chain roles, ideally within retail, pharmacy, or FMCG.
Industry/ Sector – Large Retail, Pharmacy or FMCGnetwork
Qualification – Graduate/Post Graduate from a Tier 2/Tier 3 Institute
Role Summary
Drive cross-functional Supply Chain Excellence projects thatimprove the accountability, efficiency, and reliability of the S&OP process— from rolling out DC and Retail Ops accountability mechanisms to running theday-to-day Control Tower and closing out manual-intervention accountabilitygaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end execution of Supply Chain Excellence initiatives, e.g., rollout of DC procurement/replenishmentaccountability sheets, Retail Ops & 24×7 Ops scorecards, and the ManualIntervention Accountability framework.
- Run the day-to-day Control Tower operatingrhythm — daily stand-ups, exception log management, and ensuring Critical/High-severity alerts are resolved within SLA.
- Project-manage the monthly S&OP calendar, ensuring Portfolio Review, Demand Review, Supply Review, Pre-S&OP, and Executive S&OP happen on schedule with the right inputs from everyfunction.
- Track and chase closure of action items arising from Pre-S&OP and Executive S&OP meetings across Category, DC, RetailOps, and Marketing.
- Identify root causes behind recurring exceptions— e.g., stores in the Unnecessary/Excess manual-buying band, DCs missingfill-rate commitments — and drive structured problem-solving with the relevantteams.
- Build and maintain project trackers, RAID logs, and governance reporting across all Supply Chain Excellence initiatives.
Requirements
- 4–7 years in program/project management,operations, or supply chain roles, ideally within retail, pharmacy, or FMCG.
- Strong stakeholder management skills — able to drive accountability across Category, DC, Retail Ops, and Marketing without direct authority over those teams.
- Structured problem-solving skills and comfort working with data to identify root causes, not just report status.
- Experience running or supporting operational governance rhythms — daily stand-ups, weekly/monthly reviews, escalation processes.
- PMP, Six Sigma, or an equivalent certificationis a plus, not mandatory.
- Prior experience in an S&OP, control tower, or supply chain excellence function is preferred.
