Job summary

Thompsons HR Consulting Pvt Ltd is hiring a Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery across multiple markets. You will coordinate with market teams to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables while maintaining detailed project plans and resource requirements.

The role requires strong planning, risk and stakeholder management, and hands-on experience with testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities.

Qualifications

  • Proven PM/Program Manager experience in logistics or tech-enabled environments.
  • Experience leading multi-market or multi-country rollouts.
  • Strong planning/execution, dependency/risk/cost/quality management.
  • Stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with testing, UAT, cutover, go-live and hypercare.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams.
  • Good understanding of Jira, Confluence, SharePoint and Power BI.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain/Logistics processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery across markets and geographies.
  • Coordinate with market teams on scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and resource requirements.
  • Identify, track, and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints.
  • Monitor costs, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and markets.
  • Drive alignment and resolve blockers.
  • Manage testing, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
  • Plan cutover and go-live readiness across teams.
  • Oversee post-go-live support handover to BAU.
  • Maintain documentation, status reports, RAID logs, and governance materials.
  • Provide updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and delivery challenges.

Job description

  • Monitor project costs, quality, timelines, and overall delivery performance.
  • Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and market teams.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and ensure timely resolution of project blockers.
  • Coordinate and manage testing, UAT, defect resolution, and business readiness activities.
  • Plan and execute cutover and go-live activities, ensuring appropriate readiness across all teams.
  • Manage post-go-live hypercare/sustain activities and ensure smooth handover to the support/BAU teams.
  • Maintain project documentation, status reports, action trackers, RAID logs, and governance materials.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior stakeholders and leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and proactively resolve delivery challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and agreed delivery methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager / Program Manager, preferably within Logistics, Supply Chain, Retail, E-commerce, or technology-driven environments.
  • Experience managing multi-market or multi-country rollouts.
  • Strong project planning and execution skills.
  • Hands-on experience in dependency, risk, cost, quality, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience managing testing, UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and project handover.
  • Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
  • Good working knowledge of:
    • Jira
    • Confluence
    • SharePoint
    • Power BI
  • Good understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics processes.
Preferred / Advantageous Experience:
  • Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS).
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Experience working with 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) systems.
  • Understanding of OMS WMS 3PL integrations.
  • Experience with logistics, warehouse, order fulfillment, distribution, or transportation systems.
  • Experience managing system integrations, interfaces, or technology transformation projects.
  • Experience in large-scale retail or e-commerce transformation programs.
  • Experience working across international markets and coordinating global/local business requirements.
