Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Pune, India, seeks a seasoned Program Manager for Data Center Solutions responsible for CDUs, Cold Plates, Liquid Cooling, and Power Distribution. You will coordinate with engineering, product management, sales, and manufacturing to drive development, launches, and lifecycle management.

The role requires strong skills in scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and executive reporting, with prior success in complex, multi-stakeholder programs for Data Center infrastructure

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project scheduling, budget management, stakeholder engagement, cross-functional leadership, risk management, milestone execution, and executive reporting.
• Experience managing Data Center Infrastructure, Liquid Cooling, CDU, Cold Plate, Thermal Management, or Power Distribution product development programs with OEMs/ODMs/hyperscalers.
• PMP certification or equivalent program management certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Business Leaders to define scope, budgets, resources, and timelines for Data Center products.
• Develop and maintain detailed NPI project schedules in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Establish and maintain project risk registers and drive mitigation with measurable evidence.
• Create and manage program budgets covering all costs to meet financial objectives.
• Lead cross-functional program reviews and governance meetings for milestones and launches.
• Negotiate schedules, prototype builds, validation plans, and priorities with customers and partners.
• Engage Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Manufacturing early to set supplier strategies and capacity plans.
• Manage end-to-end NPI programs for Data Center infrastructure technologies from concept to deployment.

What You’ll Do

"This role is responsible for Program Management within the Data Center Solutions team, focusing on CDUs (Coolant Distribution Units), Cold Plates, Liquid Cooling, Busbars, and Power Distribution Solutions. The candidate will collaborate with engineering, product management, sales, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, and marketing teams to drive successful product development, launch, and lifecycle management."

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Business Leaders to define project scope, budgets, resource requirements, and timelines for Data Center products, including CDUs, Cold Plates, Liquid Cooling Systems, Busbars, and Power Distribution Solutions.


• Develop and maintain detailed NPI project schedules in partnership with cross-functional teams, working backward from customer and business launch targets to ensure timely execution.


• Establish and maintain project risk registers, proactively identifying technical, supply chain, manufacturing, and customer-related risks, while driving mitigation and closure plans with measurable evidence.


• Create and manage program budgets, tracking material, labor, tooling, prototyping, validation, and non-recurring engineering (NRE) costs to ensure projects meet financial objectives.


• Lead cross-functional program reviews and governance meetings, driving accountability for critical milestones, deliverables, design validation, manufacturing readiness, and launch activities.


• Partner with customers, OEMs, ODMs, hyperscalers, and internal stakeholders to negotiate schedules, prototype builds, validation plans, and program priorities to support successful product development and deployment.


• Engage Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Manufacturing teams early in the development cycle to establish supplier strategies, manufacturing readiness plans, procurement schedules, and capacity planning.

• 8 - 12 years of experience with multinational engineering organization

Skills

• "Experience managing product development programs for Data Center Infrastructure, Liquid Cooling Solutions, CDUs, Cold Plates, Thermal Management Systems, Power Distribution Solutions, or related technologies serving hyperscale, enterprise, OEM, or ODM customers. PMP Certification (or equivalent program management certification) is highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, project scheduling tools, and project management methodologies, with strong skills in executive reporting, resource planning, and program governance."\
