Job summary

ESDS Software Solution Ltd. in Kolkata/Noida seeks a seasoned Data Center Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of greenfield and brownfield DC infrastructure projects.

You will drive planning, execution, compliance, and vendor coordination in mission-critical environments, overseeing HVAC, electrical, and IBMS/ELV systems. The role demands hands-on PM experience with Tier II/III/IV DCs, strong regulatory knowledge, and a track record of delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 8–14 years of DC operations and PM experience.
• Experience with Tier II/III/IV DC projects.
• Knowledge of MEP, HVAC, and IBMS/ELV systems.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Project, and BMS/DCIM platforms.
• Familiar with ISO 20000/27001, ITIL, CEIG regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, budgeting, execution, and commissioning of DC infrastructure projects (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, IBMS).
• Manage full project lifecycle to meet timelines, SLAs and quality standards.
• Prepare schedules, BOQ, drawings, execution plans, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for delivery, installation, inspections, and compliance.
• Supervise Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical work per client requirements and DC design best practices.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory norms and audits (CEIG, CPCB, ISO, Fire Safety, EHS).
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance of key DC infrastructure components.
• Manage site readiness including UPS, DG, PAC/CRAC, transformers, BMS, fire suppression, IBMS.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Data Center Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of greenfield and brownfield data center infrastructure projects at ESDS. This role demands hands-on expertise in MEP project planning, execution, compliance, and vendor coordination across mission-critical environments. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in managing Tier II/III/IV data center projects including HVAC, electrical, and IBMS/ELV systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning, budgeting, execution, and commissioning of data center infrastructure projects – including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, and IBMS systems.
• Manage full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery of projects as per timelines, SLAs, and quality standards.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, BOQ, MEP drawings, execution plans, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams and external vendors/contractors for material delivery, installation, inspections, and compliance.
• Supervise Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical work as per client requirements and DC design best practices.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory norms and audits – CEIG, CPCB, ISO, Fire Safety, and EHS.
• Oversee Preventive and Predictive Maintenance planning of key DC infrastructure components.
• Manage site readiness including UPS, DG sets, PAC/CRAC, transformers, BMS, fire suppression, and IBMS systems.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly MIS, incident RCA reports, PUE metrics, vendor performance tracking, and SLA/KPI analysis.
• Lead emergency response planning, site risk management, and business continuity preparedness.
• Drive energy efficiency projects, ensuring continuous improvement in operational KPIs and sustainability benchmarks.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 8–14 years of experience in Data Center Operations & Project Management.
• Strong experience working with Tier II/III/IV data centers in project and operations capacity.
• Deep knowledge of MEP systems, electrical infrastructure, HVAC, and IBMS/ELV systems.
• Proficient in tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project, BMS/DCIM platforms.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards – ISO 20000/27001, ITIL, CEIG, etc.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience in Vendor/AMC management, contract negotiations, and SLA governance.
• Proficiency in preparing technical audits, load calculations, power planning, and EOL forecasts.
• Strong stakeholder communication, project documentation, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to manage 24x7 DC environments, handle escalations, and work under pressure.
