Program Manager - Auto loans/passenger vehicles/cars

This role is a full time role with our client - a global finance captive arm of automobile manufacturer.

Summary - This role involves a blend of strategic planning, product development, sales support, and Cross functional coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Planning: Defining the program vision and goals (e.g. increasing market share for specific loan types like new or used cars) that support the organization's long-term objectives.
• Market Analysis: Analyzing market trends, competitor offerings, and customer demand to identify opportunities for new loan products or improvements to existing ones.
• Product/Program Design: Structuring loan programs, defining terms, interest rates, down payment requirements, and eligibility criteria tailored to different customer segments (e.g., new cars, used cars, electric vehicles).
• Portfolio Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) defined in the Program parameters.
• Sales and Distribution Channel Management: Collaborating with sales teams, dealerships, and third-party intermediaries to drive loan origination volume and ensure a smooth operation.
• Product Development & Implementation: Managing the lifecycle of auto loan products, including digital journeys, new feature builds, and offer implementation, from conception to closure.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Acting as a central hub to ensure seamless cooperation across various departments such as Business, Technology, Operations, Risk, Credit Policy, Marketing, and Sales.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serving as the primary liaison between project teams, senior leadership, external vendors, and clients, managing expectations and communication throughout the program life cycle.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluating and enhancing existing processes and workflows to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and the overall customer experience.
