Responsibilities
The Program Manager is responsible for customer development, leading technical aspects of opportunities, proposals and projects. The role ensures the deliverable/quality review process and metrics perform, and oversees program management and financial/business health of the program.
- Understand the requirements and prepare estimates
- Perform technical discussions with internal and customer counterparts
- Break down high level tasks into smaller, executable steps for the team
- Lead root cause analysis for defects and collaborate with customer / internal stakeholders to suggest fixes or workarounds
- Provide advanced debugging strategies to the team
- Mentor the team and drive continuous improvement in validation workflows to reduce cycle time and increase coverage
- Demonstrate success in delivering results on time with quality
- Predict project risks and develop mitigation plans
- Perform technical reviews of work items before delivering to stakeholder/customer
Required Skills and Experience
- Expertise in firmware development lifecycle; design, implementation, validation, release
- Excellent software architecture and design of embedded systems
- Programming languages: Embedded C, C++
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Leads board bring‑up of complex systems including multi‑core SoCs
- Proficient in performance tuning, memory optimization, and code profiling
- Solid understanding of bare‑metal programming and enabling HW IPs, interrupts, etc.
- Expertise in development and maintenance of firmware, device driver/bare‑metal driver
- Experience in CSI, DSI, UCIe, NPU, I2C, UART, SPI, USB, ADC, DAC, DMA, etc.
- Familiarity with schematic diagram, H/W user manuals, datasheets, basic HW circuits and debugging tools such as DSO, multimeter, etc.
Essential Skills
- Experience with continuous integration tools like SVN, Git, Jira, etc.
- Knowledge of bare‑metal and RTOS‑based designs
- Familiarity with code optimization techniques and coding standards such as MISRA C
Good To Have Skills
- Experience with IoT and modern connectivity solutions
- Knowledge of cloud platforms & services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and AI
- Certification in embedded systems or related fields
- Cross‑industry experience in embedded systems architecture
