Job summary

Akkodis in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead end-to-end NPI programs for Aerospace Electronics products.

You will own delivery, coordinate between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Testing, and Customer teams, and drive plans, reviews, and dashboards.

Qualifications

• 12–13 years of aerospace/defense program management experience.
• Proven track record delivering NPI programs for aerospace electronics/avionics.
• Understanding of aerospace product development lifecycle.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with MS Project for planning and tracking.
• PM certifications like PMP/PRINCE2 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Aerospace electronics NPI programs from development phase through production readiness and delivery.
• Manage program planning, execution, schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Testing, and Customer teams.
• Manage program risks, issues, requirements, changes, and mitigation plans.
• Track project performance against schedule, cost, quality, and technical objectives.
• Conduct program reviews, design reviews, qualification reviews, and customer status meetings.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace development processes, standards, and customer requirements.
• Prepare program dashboards, reports, and leadership updates.

Role Overview

Looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead end-to-end NPI programs for Aerospace Electronics products. The role requires strong program ownership, cross-functional leadership, and execution of complex engineering programs while ensuring delivery within schedule, cost, quality, and technical objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Aerospace electronics NPI programs from development phase through production readiness and delivery.
• Manage program planning, execution, schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Testing, and Customer teams.
• Manage program risks, issues, requirements, changes, and mitigation plans.

• Mechanical engineering candidates may be considered with relevant aerospace program management experience.

Qualification

• Bachelor's/masters degree in engineering (Electronics, Electrical).
• PMP/PRINCE2 certification preferred.
