Job summary

Thoucentric Technology Private Limited is seeking a Program Head for Planning System transformations (Kinaxis/o9/SAP). The role leads large APS programs, overseeing end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams, including integrations, data readiness, testing, cutover, change management, and adoption.

This hybrid role requires 12–18+ years of experience in complex transformations, strong governance, budgeting, and senior stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Advanced Planning Systems and APS implementation lifecycle.
• Experience leading large, global programs in supply chain or planning domains.
• PMP/PgMP/SAFe or similar certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

Lead large-scale, Advanced Planning System (APS)transformation programs like Kinaxis, o9, SAP etc. for complex and largeprograms The role oversees end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams —includingAPS functional implementation, enterprise integrations, data readiness,testing, cutover, change management, and business adoption.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for programgovernance, multi-vendor orchestration, stakeholder alignment, and deliveryexcellence , ensuring the APS implementation delivers measurable businessvalue and transforms planning processes across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Provideoverall leadership for the APS transformation, ensuring alignment withbusiness objectives and long-term planning strategy.
• Establishand run a comprehensive program governance structure (SteerCos, PMO, RAIDmanagement, design authority, cross-stream syncs).
• Defineprogram charter, scope, KPIs, milestones, and value realization framework.
• Leadplanning, budgeting, and execution across global and regional teams.

2. Oversight of Multi-Stream Delivery

• Directand coordinate all APS program workstreams, including:
• Integrationwith enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, MES, Data Lake, Reporting)
• Testing(SIT, UAT), cutover, and hypercare
• Businessprocess harmonization
• Changemanagement and planner adoption
• Managedependencies and ensure seamless integration across functional andtechnical tracks.
• Workwith multiple vendor partners handling APS implementation, integrations,data engineering, infra, and change management.
• Drivejoint planning, milestone alignment, contractual governance, andperformance tracking.
• Ensurepartners deliver high-quality outputs and adhere to timelines, budget, andscope.

4. Scope, Budget, and Risk Management

• Ownand control program scope; run structured change-management processes forall new asks.
• Trackand manage budgets, forecasts, invoicing, and financial health of theprogram.
• Identifyrisks early, formulate mitigation strategies, and drive issue resolution.
• Protectthe program from scope creep, misalignment, and delivery slippage.

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Actas the primary liaison between business leadership, supply chain teams,IT, and vendors.
• Engagewith senior stakeholders to drive decisions, align priorities, andcommunicate progress transparently.
• Produceexecutive dashboards, governance reports, and program-level updates.
• Facilitatedecision-making forums and steer planning councils.

6. Business Alignment & Change Adoption

• EnsureAPS design aligns with business processes, planning cycles, andorganizational KPIs.
• Leadprocess harmonization, SOP design, future-state mapping, and adoptionstrategy.
• Supporttraining, onboarding, cutover readiness, and post go-live stabilization.
• Driveadoption metrics, planner engagement, and value realization tracking.

7. Quality Assurance & Delivery Control

• Ensureprogram deliverables meet quality standards, architectural guidelines, andbusiness acceptance criteria.
• Maintainreusable knowledge artifacts—program documents, templates, playbooks, andSOPs.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Functional Expertise

• Strongunderstanding of Advanced Planning Systems , supply chain planningprocesses, and APS implementation lifecycle.
• Experiencewith one or more platforms preferred: Kinaxis, o9, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder ,etc.
• Solidknowledge of enterprise integration landscapes, data models, and planningalgorithms.
• Abilityto review functional designs, validate technical architecture, and guidefunctional/technical teams.
• 12–18+years of experience with at least 5–7 years leading large, globalprograms .
• Provensuccess running multi-stream, multi-vendor enterprise transformationprograms in supply chain, IT, or planning domains.
• Strongcommand of program governance, RAID management, budgeting, and stakeholdermanagement.
• Experiencemanaging large cross-functional teams (40–100+ resources) acrossgeographies.
• Exceptionalcommunication and senior stakeholder management experience.
• Abilityto influence business leaders, IT architects, and global process owners.
• Strongdecision-making in ambiguous or high-pressure environments.
• Highlystructured, detail-oriented, and excellent at driving clarity andaccountability.

Educational Background & Certifications

• Bachelor's/MBAfrom Tier 1; Tier 2 college
• Certificationssuch as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, CSM, CSPO, or equivalent are a strong advantage.
• APS-relatedcertifications (Kinaxis/O9/IBP/Blue Yonder) preferred but not mandatory.
