Job summary

Udayan Care, based in New Delhi, seeks a Program Coordinator for the USF to lead the North Chapter. You will run the selection process, deliver mentoring sessions, and coordinate workshops that enable girls from disadvantaged backgrounds to access education and leadership opportunities.

You will manage relationships with schools, donors, and volunteers, track programme data in ERP, and report to the Core Committee.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• 1 to 5 years of NGO or education sector experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
• Good coordination, reporting, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and community engagement skills.
• Comfortable working with Excel, Microsoft Office, and online data portals.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and engage volunteers, and organise workshops, mentoring sessions, and events for Shalinis

• Prepare and submit regular reports and data updates to the Core Committee and Head Office

Udayan Care is a public charitable trust founded in 1994. Its name means “Eternal Sunrise” in Sanskrit. It works across 44 cities in 18 states in India, supporting children without parental care through mentoring, education, and family reunification, while also working to empower girls, women, and youth. It has directly impacted over 65,000 lives, and holds accreditations from GiveIndia and Credibility Alliance, along with the National Award for Child Welfare.

The Udayan Shalini Fellowship (USF) supports talented girls from disadvantaged backgrounds by going beyond financial help for education, offering mentoring, leadership training, life skills, and employability training. The programme runs through 39 chapters across 16 states and has reached over 16,500 girls so far.

Role

This role leads the Udayan Shalini Fellowship’s North Chapter in Delhi, You’ll lead the Udayan Shalini Fellowship’s North Chapter in Delhi, running the selection, mentoring, and workshops that help girls from disadvantaged backgrounds access education and leadership opportunities, while managing relationships with schools, donors, and volunteers.
