Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in Psychology and allied areas.
• Develop, review, and update curriculum in line with UGC and NEP guidelines.
• Guide and supervise M.Phil. and Ph.D. scholars where applicable.
• Publish research in UGC CARE-listed, Scopus, and WoS journals.
• Lead funded research projects and interdisciplinary initiatives.
• Contribute to academic planning, BoS, Academic Council, and committees.
• Organize seminars, conferences, FDPs, and extension activities.
• Mentor students for academic excellence and career development.
• Support accreditation processes (NAAC, NBA, NIRF).
• Undertake academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the University.

Position Overview

The University is seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and research-oriented Professor in Psychology who will provide academic leadership in teaching, research, curriculum development, student mentoring, and institutional development in accordance with UGC regulations and University policies.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in Psychology and allied areas.
• Develop, review, and update curriculum in accordance with UGC and NEP guidelines.

• Publish high-quality research papers in UGC CARE-listed, Scopus, and Web of Science-indexed journals.

Eligibility Criteria (As per UGC Norms)

• Ph.D. in Psychology from a recognized university (mandatory).
• The Ph.D. degree should have been awarded at least 05 years prior to the date of application.
• Minimum 10+ years of teaching and/or research experience in a University, College, or Accredited Research Institution/Industry.
• At least 5 years of experience at the level of Associate Professor.
• A strong record of high-quality research publications, books, sponsored research projects, patents (where applicable), and successful guidance of Ph.D. scholars.
• Fulfilment of all UGC-prescribed eligibility criteria, including the required Academic/Research Score, wherever applicable.
