Job Description:
We are seeking highly motivated, experienced, and visionary academicians for the roles of Associate Professor and Professor in Computer Science Engineering. The ideal candidates will take leading roles in shaping the academic and research landscape of the department. These positions involve delivering high-quality instruction to undergraduate and graduate students, driving independent and collaborative research, publishing scholarly works, and providing mentorship and leadership within the department and the broader university community.
Curriculum Delivery: Develop, manage, and teach comprehensive undergraduate and graduate courses in core CSE domains, including but not limited to Computer Systems Design, Computer Networks, Software Engineering, and Algorithms.
Student Guidance: Provide dedicated mentorship and guidance to undergraduate and graduate students, particularly in technical research projects, internships, and thesis preparation.
Independent Research: Conduct independent, innovative research and collaborate effectively with colleagues and students on advanced technical projects.
Publications: Publish high-quality research findings in reputable, peer-reviewed academic journals.
Knowledge Sharing: Present research at prominent national and international conferences and stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and developments in computer science.
Academic Leadership: Serve in key leadership roles within the department, such as heading research groups, serving on academic committees, and mentoring junior faculty members.
Institutional Contribution: Engage in vital service activities for the department and university, including community outreach programs and serving on grant review panels.
Professional Engagement: Actively participate in professional networks and organizations to enhance the institution's industry and academic footprint.
Education: A Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related field is strictly required.
Experience Criteria:
For Associate Professor: A minimum of 8 years of teaching experience at the university level.
For Professor: A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience at the university level.
Research Track Record: A robust portfolio of research accomplishments, backed by publications in reputable academic journals and presentations at national/international conferences.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and supervise research projects and a genuine commitment to mentoring junior faculty and students.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.
Industry Awareness: Deep familiarity with current and emerging trends, tools, and developments in the field of computer science engineering.
