Job summary

Solar Industries India seeks an experienced Production Supervisor / Senior Supervisor to oversee day-to-day production operations in a chemical manufacturing plant. The role requires hands-on experience in batch processing, shift management, SAP transactions, safety compliance, and team handling.

Candidate will supervise Crystallization, Distillation, Drying, MEE, and ETP operations, ensure smooth material flow, and maintain strict quality records and safety standards on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in chemical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities and achieve targets.
• Monitor process parameters like temperature, pressure, flow, and yield.
• Supervise Crystallization, Distillation, Drying, MEE, and ETP operations.
• Ensure raw material charging, batch processing, and finished goods transfer.
• Maintain batch records, production reports, and SAP transactions.
• Implement 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and safety practices on the shop floor.
• Monitor ETP operations and ensure environmental compliance.
• Lead shift operators and technicians.
• Conduct shift handovers, toolbox talks, and safety audits.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, PTW, and PPE requirements.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities and ensure achievement of production targets.
• Monitor and control process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, and yield.
• Supervise operations of Crystallization, Distillation, Drying, MEE, and ETP systems.
• Ensure smooth raw material charging, batch processing, and finished goods transfer.
• Maintain batch records, production reports, and SAP transactions.
• Implement and sustain 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and safety practices on the shop floor.
• Monitor ETP operations and ensure compliance with environmental norms.
• Lead and supervise shift operators and technicians.
• Conduct shift handovers, toolbox talks, and safety audits.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, PTW systems, and PPE requirements.

Required Qualification

• B.Sc. (Chemistry) / Diploma in Chemical Engineering / B.Tech Chemical Engineering.
• 4-8 years of experience in Chemical Manufacturing Industry.
• Knowledge of SAP production transactions.
• Experience in handling MEE and ETP operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience as Production Supervisor, Shift In-charge, or Senior Supervisor.
• Hands-on exposure to batch process manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
