Job summary

Computronics Lab in Greater Noida is seeking a hands-on Production Specialist to support the production, assembly, testing and quality control of customized industrial electronic products and prototypes.

You will work closely with our R&D engineers to convert approved prototypes into reliable, repeatable production units, ensuring traceability, BOMs, assembly instructions and test checklists are maintained, with a focus on quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech/ITI in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation or related field.
• Preferably 5+ years hands-on experience in electronics production and PCB assembly.
• Ability to follow documented processes and work independently on hardware.

Responsibilities

• Handle production and assembly of electronic products after prototype/R&D approval.
• PCB component soldering, rework, connector fitting and PCB assembly.
• Perform wiring, crimping, cable preparation, harnessing and enclosure integration.
• Assemble PCBs with sensors, displays, relays, motors, power supplies and modules.
• Test completed PCBs and products according to defined procedures.
• Troubleshoot production‑level PCB, wiring and assembly issues.
• Maintain BOMs, assembly instructions, wiring diagrams and production records.
• Coordinate with procurement on components and materials.
• Ensure units meet functional, visual and workmanship standards.

About the Role

Computronics Lab is looking for a hands‑on Production Specialist to support the production, assembly, testing, and quality control of customized industrial electronic products and prototypes.

The candidate will work closely with our R&D engineers to convert successfully developed prototypes into reliable, repeatable production units. Our projects include Industrial IoT, Embedded Systems, Automation, PCB‑based Controllers, Sensor Systems, RS485/Modbus Devices, GSM/GPS Systems, HMI‑based equipment, and customized electronic products.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle production and assembly of electronic products after prototype/R&D approval.
• PCB component soldering, rework, connector fitting and PCB assembly.
• Perform wiring, crimping, cable preparation, harnessing and enclosure integration.
• Assemble PCBs with sensors, displays, relays, motors, power supplies, communication modules and other peripherals.
• Test completed PCBs and products according to defined test procedures.
• Troubleshoot production‑level PCB, wiring and assembly issues.
• Use multimeter, oscilloscope, bench power supply, soldering/rework stations and other electronic test equipment.
• Perform firmware flashing/programming where required using predefined production procedures.
• Maintain consistent quality across multiple units during small and medium production batches.
• Carry out incoming, in‑process and final QC inspections.
• Identify recurring production defects and coordinate corrective actions with the R&D team.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs, assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, test checklists and production records.
• Coordinate with procurement regarding components, PCBs and production materials.
• Maintain component traceability and proper usage of production inventory.
• Support prototype-to-production transition and suggest improvements for easier assembly and manufacturing.
• Ensure completed units meet functional, visual and workmanship standards before dispatch.
• Maintain an organized, safe and ESD‑compliant production/workbench environment.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of electronics components, PCBs and electronic circuits.
• Strong soldering and PCB rework skills, including SMD and through‑hole components.
• Practical understanding of power supplies, sensors, relays, communication modules and microcontroller‑based systems.
• Ability to understand schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams and BOMs.
• Experience using electronic testing and measurement instruments.
• Good troubleshooting and fault‑finding ability.
• Knowledge of PCB assembly and production processes.
• Understanding of quality control and production documentation.
• Ability to independently assemble and test products according to approved documentation.

Preferred Knowledge

Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:

• ESP32 / STM32 / Arduino / Raspberry Pi
• RS485 / Modbus / UART / I2C / SPI
• GSM / GPS / Wi‑Fi / Bluetooth / Ethernet
• Industrial sensors and 4–20 mA interfaces
• HMI and industrial control systems
• PCB programming and firmware flashing
• Cable harness and panel wiring
• Production jigs and test fixtures

Qualification & Experience

Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / ITI in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation or related field.

Experience: Preferably 5+ years of hands‑on experience in electronics production, PCB assembly, industrial electronics, testing or manufacturing.

Practical skills and the ability to independently build and troubleshoot electronic products will be given more importance than academic qualification alone.
