Job summary

Siemens in Thane, India, is seeking a Production Scheduling professional to plan and sequence production of Air Insulated Medium Voltage Panels and related switchgear, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient operations.

You will work with logistics, procurement, production, and quality teams, using SAP/MRP and Kanban to estimate material needs, adjust schedules for delays, and monitor KPIs to optimize throughput and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Experience with MRP, Kanban or similar systems.
• Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of medium voltage products and related manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan production tasks and schedules according to customer orders.
• Develop and review production plan with Managers for approval.
• Estimate needs for raw materials and give timely inputs to procurement teams.
• Oversee the production process, monitoring progress against schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Analyze delays and interruptions and accordingly adjust production schedule to meet deadlines.
• Liaise with various departments, including logistics, procurement, production, and quality control, to ensure a seamless workflow.
• Track production quantities, analyze data, and report KPIs
• Support inventory management processes to avoid shortages and excesses.

As a Production planning and control professional, you will perform the planning and scheduling activities of Air Insulated Medium Voltage Panels, Indoor and Outdoor circuit breakers to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products.
