Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Production Planning professional with strong expertise in Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and SAP/S4HANA knowledge. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure effective planning, schedule adherence, and risk mitigation.

You will prepare, refine, and publish MPS, conduct IT planning reviews, and manage ERP execution and exceptions to keep production on track across the plant network.

Qualifications

• Experience in master production scheduling and production planning.
• Hands-on SAP/S/4HANA experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain draft MPS considering demand changes and capacity constraints.
• Finalize and publish MPS after validating constraints and cross-functional alignment.
• Analyze scheduling insights and refine plans from Materials, Factory Operations, and PIPO teams.
• Lead weekly Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP) reviews with plant teams to refresh MPS and assess risks.
• Develop and publish daily production schedules considering material availability and priorities.
• Manage ERP execution and scheduling horizon exceptions, assess feasibility, and document resolutions.
