Job summary

Hatsun Agro Product in Tamil Nadu Dharmapuri is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee shop floor activities and ensure targets and quality standards are met.

You will coordinate production planning, manage bottlenecks, ensure GMP compliance, safety training, and accurate stock reporting via SAP. The role requires 0-5 years of relevant experience and a DME or BE qualification.

Responsibilities

• Remove bottlenecks on the shop floor to meet production targets.

• Maintain stock accuracy in SAP and reconcile with physical stock.
• Prepare and present reports to the manager.

Job description

Job Purpose:

The role holder is responsible for manning production activity in shop floor by achieving production target which are in line with HAP and Quality standards.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Responsible for removing bottle necks in shop floor which hinders production.
• Ensure that the shop floor personnel follow all the norms and regulations of the organization.
• Execute the production planning effectively for achieving the target at minimum cost
• Calculate Product losses & Packing Material losses on everyday basis and method to prevent same
• Identify root cause of issue and suggest preventive measure to eradicate occurrence of the same issue.
• Ensure safety of individuals by training them to follow the MSDS, of how to handle the chemicals & how to handle the situation in case of fire.
• Verify the cleaning schedule daily before production commencement.
• Ensure all production employees are wearing appropriate PPE and following personal hygiene procedures as per HAP standard.
• Ensure the factory is clean/tidy and abides by GMP standards at all times
• To maintain the stock through SAP entry and there should not be any difference between physical and book stock.
• Preparation and presentation reports to immediate manager.

• Internal: HR- For manpower allocation on shift basis.
• Internal: Maintenance -Coordination for breakdown issue and for maintenance related activity.
• Internal: Logistics- To plan and dispatch finished goods.
