Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and corrective actions.
• Reduce rejection, rework, and scrap through process improvements.
• Allocate manpower and jobs based on production priorities.
• Train operators on machine handling, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Monitor tool life and manage tooling requirements.
• Maintain daily production reports and shift handover records.
• Ensure compliance with safety, PPE, 5S, and ISO standards.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities in the CNC and VMC machining sections. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, ensuring product quality, optimizing machine utilization, and leading the shop floor team while maintaining safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily CNC/VMC machining operations and ensure production targets are achieved.

• Monitor machine loading, cycle time, setup time, OEE, and machine utilization.

• Ensure components are manufactured as per engineering drawings and quality standards.

• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and corrective actions.

• Monitor and reduce rejection, rework, and scrap.

• Allocate manpower and jobs based on production priorities.

• Train operators on machine handling, safety, quality, and productivity.

• Coordinate preventive maintenance and minimize machine downtime.

• Monitor tool life and ensure proper tooling management.

Required Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• 3–8 years of experience in CNC/VMC machining and production supervision.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of CNC & VMC machine operations.

• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.

• Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, and process optimization.

• Familiarity with quality inspection instruments.

• Basic computer knowledge with ERP/MIS reporting.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Knowledge of Fanuc & Siemens controllers.

Salary: Up to ₹6,00,000 per annum
