Job summary

Unimech Aerospace Manufacturing Limited in Devanahalli is seeking a Production Manager to lead precision component manufacturing, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and safe operations. You will oversee advanced machining processes and drive shop floor improvements.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of VMC, CNC Turning, Turnmill, 5th Axis, VTL, Wirecut and Grinding, plus experience with ISO/AS9100.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–12 years of experience in precision component manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Exposure to aerospace industry standards and certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production schedules aligned with customer requirements and company goals.
• Supervise and optimize utilization of VMC, CNC Turning, Turnmill, 5th Axis, VTL, Double Column, Wirecut, and Grinding machines.
• Ensure adherence to aerospace quality standards and ISO/AS9100 requirements.
• Manage and mentor production staff, fostering skill development and accountability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize workflows.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Monitor KPIs, prepare production reports, and present performance updates to senior management.

Role Overview

• Experience in lean manufacturing and process optimization.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.
• Proven ability to manage production teams in a high‑precision environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.

• Minimum 812 years of experience in precision component manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
