B & A Packaging India Limited is seeking an experienced Head of Production for our Odisha plant. You will lead production operations to achieve targets, ensure quality, and drive productivity improvements.

The role requires strong hands-on leadership in flexible packaging, with a focus on planning, cost control, and cross-functional coordination. Bachelor-level engineering degree and 7+ years in production, including 2+ years in senior leadership, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Plastics, Printing, Packaging, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor day-to-day production activities at the plant.
• Plan production schedules and ensure timely achievement of production targets.
• Lead and guide the production team to maintain efficient operations.
• Ensure proper utilisation of manpower, machines, materials, and other resources.
• Maintain required quality standards and reduce production wastage.
• Identify production problems and take quick corrective actions.
• Improve production efficiency, productivity, and overall operational performance.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, and other departments.
• Monitor machine performance and support preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and production procedures.
• Prepare and review production reports, MIS, and performance data.
• Support cost-control and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education

Experience

• Around 7 years of experience in Production.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior production leadership / Plant Head role in the Flexible Packaging industry.
• Candidates with strong hands-on experience in flexible packaging manufacturing will be preferred.
