Job summary

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is building India’s first AI-enabled semiconductor foundry, with a focus on power management ICs, displays, MCUs, and HPC logic. We seek a production supervisor to lead shifts, drive output, and ensure safety and quality across a multi-disciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of production supervision experience, familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems, and strong leadership and communication skills to manage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in production supervision or shift management.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production operations during assigned shifts.
• Supervise and guide production operators to meet daily targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Prepare and submit shift reports, highlighting productivity and challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and reduce downtime and improve yield.
• Train and mentor staff to improve efficiency and skill levels.

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.
