Job summary

The Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) line leader will supervise a production team, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-driven operation on the production line. You’ll oversee day‑to‑day activities, drive productivity, and troubleshoot issues to maintain uptime.

Working within TEPL’s semiconductor manufacturing environment, you’ll coordinate with maintenance and engineering, enforce safety and quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement and KPI attainment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address issues that may affect production, such as equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or bottlenecks.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time to meet production goals.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards; conduct checks and audits as needed.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Drive year-over-year equipment and process improvements (cycle time, OEE).
• Initiate, plan, implement and control activities in your area.
• Monitor raw materials, components and supplies; coordinate with supply chain for availability.
• Aim to reach targeted KPIs (scrap rate, yield improvements, zero ppm).

Job Overview

The Line Leader is responsible for supervising and leading a team of production workers to ensure the efficient, safe, and quality-focused operation of the production line. This role includes overseeing day-to-day production activities, maintaining productivity, ensuring safety compliance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Roles And Responsibilites
